Hair loss has been on the list of complaints from various clients of mine over the years. My approach to address this concern is to balance the internal system of a person. Some of the causes of hair loss are hormone imbalances, infections that deplete the nutrition of the body, weakness in various organs such as lungs and kidneys, as well as circulation problems. The objective is to balance the totality of the individual and support the focus of treatment with proper nutrition.

Over the years, while being treated for general health concerns, some clients have unexpectedly experienced improved hair growth. In contrast, I observed that others experienced no success with their hair growth improvement. This observation led me to further investigate internal approaches to hair loss issues. I started to recognize that even if the body was balanced in nutrition and energy that the external body, i.e. hair and scalp, needed some type of stimulation to enhance the vitality of the hair. When I tested this product, it showed great promise and led me to perform my own non-scientific study.

Bamboo Hair and Scalp Stimulator was presented to me as a topical treatment. I decided to try this product with some of my clients who have been experiencing hair loss.

The testing started in March 2011 with four subjects between the ages of 40 to 50 years old – two men and two women. Energy tests performed on the two versions of the product – Women’s Bamboo Hair and Men’s Bamboo Hair, indicated that, for both genders, the women’s blend would balance the weakened areas of the head that experienced hair loss. The patients were instructed to spray the area of concern with 2 pumps in the morning and 2 pumps at night and to thoroughly massage their scalp with the product. The two women had long hair and experienced thinning on the top of the head (front to back area). One male subject experienced balding on the crown (photo below) and the second had receding hair on the sides of the front of the head (no photos available).

March 15 2011-Start of study (above) and June 20, 2011 (Right) (Click on photos to enlarge)

The photo above depicts change in 3 months after the use of 1 bottle of Women’s Bamboo Hair. An energy test was performed at this time which indicated a smaller area of weakness in the balding area, matching the visible change. (Note: photo settings vary between the two.) A second bottle was given to this subject as well as the other 3 in the study.

The female subject (photos below), had considerable hair thinning, in spite of having long hair.

March 15 2011-Start of study (Left) and Oct 20, 2011 (Below) (Click on photos to enlarge)

The photo above depicts change in 7 months after the use of 2 bottles of Women’s Bamboo Hair. Notice the circumference of the area of balding is smaller with the photo on the right. An energy test was performed at this time which indicated no area of weakness in the top of the head area, matching the visible change. (Note: photo settings vary between the two.)

Results/Testimonials:

The female subjects found that hair loss was significantly reduced and the hair felt stronger by the end of the first bottle. The men subjects felt that their hair felt stronger and fuller. The men subjects did not complain of large quantities of hair loss as the women did.

The hair stylists of the female subjects noticed healthier and stronger hair with small “peach fuzz” hair growth in thinning areas.

Discussion:

The Bamboo Hair product, used in study showed improvement in hair quality and vitality of existing hair in four healthy balanced subjects. The women had significantly reduced hair loss.

The study provided evidence that Bamboo Hair does improve hair loss where existing follicles are found, and strengthens existing hair.

In my opinion, this product improves hair weakness, prevents further hair loss and encourages vitality to hair follicles which creates potential for hair growth. I would recommend this product to my clients in conjunction with energy therapy, in order to rule out any health deficiencies or obstacles.

This product, in my opinion, would not help hair growth in smooth bald areas of the scalp or completely bald subjects. Existing hair follicles are required to maximize this products potential.

Time, patience and discipline in using this product daily with scalp massage are needed to maximize results when using this Bamboo Hair product.

This 4 day cleanse supports and helps to allow the body to function optimally. Clients have experienced a decrease in allergy symptoms and congestion in the body, improved digestion, weight loss, and increased energy levels.

This cleanse can be repeated seasonally or at your discretion.

DAY 1:

Eat only fruit and all you want (no bananas). This will cleanse the colon (your waste paper basket).

DAY 2:

Drink all herb teas you want, such as, raspberry, hyssop, chamomile, or peppermint. Sweeten slightly with honey or maple sugar if needed. This day will release toxins, salt and excessive calcium deposits in the muscles, tissue and organs. It is important to drink enough fluids during day 2 because headaches may occur. Day 2 is easier when you are able to relax in the comfort of you home and not challenged by many activities.

DAY 3:

Eat all vegetables you want. Have them raw, steamed or both. The third day the digestive tract is supplied with healthful, mineral rich bulk.

DAY 4:

Make a big pot of vegetable broth by boiling cauliflower, cabbage, onion, green pepper, parsley, or whatever you have available. Season with sea salt. Drink only this rich mineral broth all day long. On this last day, the blood lymph, and inner organs are mineralized.

Prior to commencing, gather all ingredients for each day so that the cleanse will run smoothly.

From God helps those that help themselves by Hanna Kroeger.

Precautions: Consult your health practitioner to determine if this cleanse is for you. Consult you medical doctor for people taking medications prescribed by your MD.

DISEASE

Disease exists when the individual decides that there is absolutely no way out, out of the zoo. It begins with a thought of negative way that they established as their own, their own protective way of keeping self stuck and tormented inside, by not allowing self to live, to live and let live in and outside. It is almost always a thought, a negative thought projected at someone else and held on to it tightly as though a second rib. The energy from this thought creates distortion of it’s own and is then turned into a cellular level and hooks on. This begins to create a mass negativity on a molecular level that begins to eat away, because it’s own energy creates more and more fire. The only way to reverse the process once has begun, is to change the belief of the thinking that: It is all not really going to change. Then once they realize they have a choice in the matter then need to go in with chi and change that ridiculous order. Because that chi circulates, as you know, it itself has the ability to grow and yet again change the cellular belief that it’s imbalance is the only way to go. So then it could use the same assistance indeed but that need be natural for otherwise it just creates more and more unnatural state. So peaceful acceptance is all that’s required, it comes from the thoughts, no other.

THE EFFECT OF OSTEOPATHIC TREATMENT OF CAESAREAN SCARS ON PELVIC MUSCLE STRENGTH

In general, scars have many effects on the function of the body. Think of a square piece of plastic wrap and bunch up one corner. Notice how the remaining part of the plastic wrap is pulled into the manipulated corner. This is tension and dysfunction in the wrap. Imagine your body with this problem. This thesis connects the c-section scar to many areas in the body and how to treat and release potential troubles a women may feel, such as low back pain, neck pain, headaches, painful gynecological areas, poor digestion and more.

Georgio Trimarchi is a graduate of the Canadian College of Osteopathy. He has been treating the release of scars for many years. As part of the requirements of the College for licensing, Georigo was honoured to be able to research, scientifically, scars and how it may affect muscle strength.

To view the complete thesis, use this link: http://innergetics.ca/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/MasterThesisDec82009.Web_.pdf

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine how myofascial release on transverse Caesarean (caesarean) scars, in conjunction with the use of boney anchors for integration (lumbar and sacrum), alters the muscle strength of specific pelvic muscles.

In this study, which utilized a time-controlled within-subject design, the strength of five specific pelvic muscles were measured for each subject using the Lafayette instrument—a hand held muscle-strength gauge dynamometer. The control and treatment groups were made up of 27 women who were between twenty and forty-five years old and have had transverse caesarean scars for more than twelve months. The participants were volunteers recruited from the local community.

The assessments of muscle strength and treatment of scars were administered in Innergetics Thornhill Clinic site by a fitness consultant and an osteopath graduate student, respectively, over a sixteen-week period.

For all pelvic muscles measured (bilaterally except for the rectus abdominus), the adductor magnus, the gluteus medius, the iliopsoas, the obturator internus and the rectus abdominus, the mean strength measured in kilograms increased over the study period with significance of p < 0.00 for each muscle. Muscle strength was measured at weeks zero, four, and eight—subjects received testing only. At weeks eight and twelve subjects received the treatment procedure. The muscle testing was measured four weeks after each treatment. Muscle strength significantly increased when the average tone of the pre-treatment period was compared to both weeks twelve and sixteen of the post treatment period.

The desired results of this study were to show a deeper understanding of the effects of caesarean scars on pelvic muscles specifically and the female body in general, and how women that have caesarean sections might benefit from osteopathy and more specifically, myofascial release techniques.

Qigong (Chi/Ki) can be thoroughly defined by going to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qigong. This site provides the history, theory and various practices of Qigong. This site also gives information of types of applications and criticisms of Qigong. It is worth reading this article, prior to commencing, to better understand the practice of Qigong.

Georgio Trimarchi, founder of innergetics.ca, has been practicing Qigong for a few years (2009) with the Toronto group classes founded by Swami Anand Nisarg, a spiritual teacher.

Georgio has been practicing Wing Chun Kungfu for about 7 year, initially taught by the late Sifu Jay Newberry and then by Sifu Jay’s teacher Sifu Roy D. Anthony of Centerline Martial Arts System at http://www.kungfutoronto.com.

Both practices provide forms of Qigong that have benefited Georgio by balancing his energy flow, stamina, strength and further development of his health practitioner skills.

The 5 video segments of Qigong practice are provided by Swami, Anand Nisarg from his latest trip to Toronto in August 2010 and filmed by Georgio Trimarchi. It is with great appreciation to have permission to show these videos to the public. Thank you Swami, Anand Nisarg.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Throughout each video segment, dynamic or movements patterns can be repeated up to 10 times (or more). Static posses are to be held for 1 minute or longer. Like any other exercise, adjust the repetitions of movement patterns and static posses to your own ability and comfort level. Focus on your breath, while doing this form of Qigong, in a slow and relaxed way. After completing section 5, continue to focus on breathing from 10 to 30 minutes or more in the static meditation position. For people that have trouble sitting on the floor with their legs crossed, sit on a pillow or in a chair–being comfortable is an asset to being able to achieve the desired relaxation affect in Qigong practice.

The following Qigong form is made up of 5 sections. These videos can be viewed by going to http://www.youtube.com/innergetics or by using the links below. Start with section 1 and end the form with section 5.
